If you already have a blog on a free service, such as Blogger.com or WordPress.com, you can move your blog to your own domain name and private hosting. WordPress software has an easy import feature from several public hosts that will load all your posts from your free blog to your privately hosted blog. You don’t have to start over or lose any information to move your blog to your own host and URL.
